Hello from 37000 feet!!
As I write we are flying over the Europe for a trip. My mother has just had open heart surgery so we are going to England to be with her and my dad. We then have a very sad trip to make. One of my college soccer players had a tragic swimming accident in Berlin. He effectively drowned as was brought back to life by a doctor administering CPR. Unfortunately his brain was without oxygen for 15 mins and he has been in a coma since the 22nd June. We are flying to Berlin to visit him in hospital and meet his family.
Finally we will be visiting Norway to spend time with my wife’s mom and family.
So let’s get back to business. As you can see from my recent postings, I have been covering a variety of topics. There are posts on Investing, Location Independent Living, Sales Coaching and Soccer. A wide range of subjects indeed.
What we are trying to do is to get a feel for what people are interested in, how we can be of help and what niche we can develop. My wife and I are fortunate that we do have a range of interests, skills and experience. I am passionate about all of the above. However, we don’t want to “Stretch ourselves too thin,” we don’t want to become “Wandering Generalities” as opposed to “Meaningful Specifics” and we don’t want to be a “Jack of all trades, Master of none.” WOW.
So, we are open to feedback, comments and suggestions. We do want to “Follow Our Bliss” and Generate Streams of Income from areas that we are passionate about. One approach would be to set up three different businesses, Soccer Coaching, Sales Training and Investing and see which we are more drawn towards and see which has the most promise. I cannot imagine that we could do a good job at all three.
So, I am laying it there for your perusal. Let me know of your experiences, lessons learned and ideas. We can all benefit from each other. I look forward to your comments
